Learning to play guitar

I really want to know how to play guitar. My husband taught me before but I didn’t have enough patience and courage to learn guitar. I complained that my fingers started to have calluses. I think I have to be more persistent in this goal. Actually, I have Ibanez guitar. My husband bought it for me to learn how to play. I really don’t want him to think that he just wasted his money on something that I would never use. So, I decided to pursue this goal and take some beginner guitar lessons online. I have looked up some websites that offer guitar lessons for beginners. I just need to make up my mind and start the guitar lessons as soon as possible. Now, I am getting a bit excited about playing guitars. I hope I can play one of my favorite songs, “Every breath you take” someday.
My baby has a cold
It’s getting colder here in Southern California. I really don’t like the frosty air right now. It somehow irritates my nose and throat. Moreover, I don’t like to use the heater but what I can do. I don’t want to suffer. I feel bad for my baby because he has a cold. I hope he feels better soon. He didn’t sleep well last night. I wasn’t able to figure why he was so fussy last night until this morning when I saw a sign of a cold. I hate it when my baby is sick. But things like this happen. He is sleeping in his car seat right now. He fell asleep in the car on the way home from Target. I am hoping that his cold would go away soon.
Guitars
When I hear Beatles songs playing on the radio, I think of gretsch guitars. I am always fascinated with those guitars. I never have one but I want to get one someday, most specifically, the White Falcon with Bigsy. I think they look very classy and elegant. And they are highly recognized piece of Rock history. They sound so good and are easy to play. I tried playing it when I went to one of the local guitar stores here in San Diego. They are quite expensive ranging from 2K to 5K. Gretsch guitars have always been known for their unique and distinct appearance. I can say that from rock, country to jazz, gretsch guitars are the winner! Nothing compares to these guitars.
Online holiday shopping
Okay, I am done working on my holiday shopping list. I am going to start shopping this week. I really want to get it done soon. Well, I think that’s possible because I am going to shop online. Like I said
in my previous post that I love shopping online because it’s easier than going to the local stores or malls. Local stores and malls usually get very busy in this time of the year. And it’s frustrating sometimes when you go to the store, they don’t have the item that you want. What a waste of time, right?
Anyhow, I am excited to get some funny tshirts online. I already picked out some designs. I think the receivers are going to find them funny and amusing. I always think funny shirts are perfect unique gifts for any occasion. Are you done shopping yet? If I were you, I would shop online. Just think about it, you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. Why shop outside when you can just do it at home?
Christmas vacation
Today is the last day of November. Wow, time runs fast. I am excited about our trip to Oregon on December. We are going to spend our Christmas there. I must admit that I am a bit nervous about going there because we are going to take the road. Yes, we are going to drive up there on Christmas Eve. I just hope and pray the weather is not bad on that day. And God will protect us on the road. But I think it’s going to be fun. I will be driving at night so my husband can sleep and drive in the morning until we reach Portland. It’s going to be a 18-hour drive, if there’s no traffic or something. And on the way back home, we are going to drop by at Bay Area. I really want to see the Golden Gate Bridge and China Town in San Francisco. Oh, I can’t wait for this vacation.
Down Jackets for cold season
It just got started to cold here in Southern California. Every time I wake up in the morning, I am freezing. I don’t want to use our furnace or heater yet. The temperature is still bearable. And plus, I want to get used to cold temperature as we are planning on taking a two-week vacation in Oregon. It’s way colder there than here. In fact, I am planning on getting myself a down jacket. Down jackets would be great to have during cold days. I’ve found some down jackets online. They are pretty expensive but I think they worth to have, most especially if you are outside in the cold. Well, I hope I could find some down jackets on sale.
