So Much Easier

We recently got a t1 line and it’s made things SO much easier. My boss is really reluctant to upgrade our technology and for the life of me I don’t know why. I think it’s just as important to have fast internet so we can communicate with our clients effectively as it is to have fancy business cards. My boss is really old school and sometimes I think you’d be better off working for him back in the 60s than you are now… Trying to get him to upgrade anything is like fighting an uphill battle. He is the nicest man in the world and I’m really thankful that his wife is only 50 because she seems to really understand the value of having upgraded technology at the office and she is sometimes our best bet for getting him to make a switch. He just really hate spending money on something he can’t see, which I understand, but he is going to have to get over that to be successful!

I really enjoyed our vacation in Oregon. I couldn’t thank my mom in-law enough for everything she did. She’s so nice. I want to give something cool and nice gift for her birthday. I’ve got some ideas but I have to consult my husband about it. I was thinking of getting her an e-book. She loves books. I looked up some ebooks online and I kind of confused which is the best ebook. Too many choices can be confusing. But I am going to read up some reviews online. That will help and guide me find the best ebook in the market today.

Putting the fun back in fall decorations

One thing that I love about fall is Halloween and all of the other fun things that go along with it. Who doesn’t love scary movies, apple cider and all kinds of candy? I sure do and I take full advantage of all of that during this season. But I also love the fun of decorating my home for the season and more specifically for the trick or treaters on Halloween. But I could use some major help with that this year since my kids are all in college now and not here to help me come up with good ideas for decorating.

While I was online looking for some decorating ideas, I came across some information on cheap internet service. I showed it to my husband and we decided to switch over our current internet service to it.

I did find some really good ideas for some fall decorations, including an idea for dressing up like a scarecrow and sitting in the rocking chair and using that as an opportunity to scare trick or treaters. I might let my son do that if he feels like being evil to some poor trick or treaters. Either way, I found some really great decorations otherwise.

Fun vacation

I really enjoyed our holiday vacation. It’s really full of fun. I don’t even mind the weather here in Oregon right now. It’s not as cold as I thought. I could still go with two layers of clothes. Anyhow, my mom-in law showed me her compost tumbler yesterday. The nice thing about living in suburban is you can do things like this. I want to live here someday. I like living in the City but I think will enjoy more if I live here. I can do a lot activities.

Learning to play guitar

I really want to know how to play guitar. My husband taught me before but I didn’t have enough patience and courage to learn guitar. I complained that my fingers started to have calluses. I think I have to be more persistent in this goal. Actually, I have Ibanez guitar. My husband bought it for me to learn how to play. I really don’t want him to think that he just wasted his money on something that I would never use. So, I decided to pursue this goal and take some beginner guitar lessons online.  I have looked up some websites that offer guitar lessons for beginners. I just need to make up my mind and start the guitar lessons as soon as possible. Now, I am getting a bit excited about playing guitars. I hope I can play one of my favorite songs, “Every breath you take” someday.

Keeping the Peace

Thanks for the post, Vernon Lowe

I try really hard to keep the peace at home but lately it seems like my wife’s just been on a rampage. She’s so concerned about saving money for the kids’ college funds she’s been researching Reliant energy provider and all kinds of different utilities and she spends literally hours every weekend cutting coupons. I know that doesn’t sound like a big deal but I feel like I never get to see her anymore and that our quality time as been diminished so much by it. I have to admit it was awful when she had to go back to work last week but you know, there are some things you juct can’t plan for and my demotion in this horrible economy was one of them. I don’t know, I just wish things would get back to normal and that she’d stop worrying so much – it’s really affecting our marriage and our whole relationship and I think the kids are starting to notice which is definitely not a good thing, you know?
