More projects
I’ve been very busy since we came back from our vacation. I have lots of projects to do. I don’t even know where to start. I must admit that I stress out just by thinking of my projects this year. But I think I can get them done in a timely manner. I know I can do it. Next month, I am going to help my husband paint our house both interior and exterior. I am also going to do rearrange my son’s bedroom. I want to change the paint color. I’ll probably paint his room blue and I want to get kids switch plate covers to make his room neat and unique. I am excited about these projects. I just hope that I’d be able to get them done before this year ends.
High thread count sheets
It’s getting cooler every day as we are approaching the winter season. I want to do some things at home. My top priority is to change our bedding. I want to get new sheets for our bed. I really like the organic sheet that my mother in-law got for my son. The sheet feels so good. Since I have a sensitive skin I am very particular and picky when it comes to clothing and bedding. I easily get rashes whenever I wear rough or low quality clothing.
Anyhow, I just looked up some high thread count sheets online. I want to purchase 100% cotton sheets. Generally, the higher the thread count, the softer the fabric feels. Although, the sheets with a higher thread count are usually more expensive, I don’t really mind it. I just want to have high quality bed sheets. For me, it’s really worth it. I wouldn’t waste my time and money on sheets that are cheaply made. The important is the comfort and durability.
I really want to get some high thread count sheets soon before it gets really colder. I was thinking of getting the organic kind. It’ll be spendy and expensive, but it’s going to be worth it.
Home projects
Home projects are never ending. There’s always a new thing to do. I don’t really have to necessarily do them except for very important stuff, like plumbing or house repair. I want to change our furniture specifically our couch next year. I would like to get rustic log furniture. I really like the look of it. Don’t you think they’re neat? But first, I want to ask my other half about this idea. I hope he’ll approve it. I can’t really decide on my own as I don’t want any arguments. Anyhow, I’m excited about this whole idea. In fact, I just looked up some rustic log furniture online just to get ideas. Another thing that I would also want to do is get new window treatment next year.
It’s getting cooler
I can already feel the cold air fill into my lungs as we are approaching the month of October. I remember last year I can still wear sleeveless shirts on Fall. I think this Fall is a lot cooler than last year.
Anyhow, I have to take all my cold weather cold out soon. And one more thing that I want to do is to buy a pair of boots. I already have a few boots but I want something different. I want to buy corral boots. I just like the look of them. They all look very fashionable and cool to me. Don’t you think? Well, I love shoes. I better start checking online for great deals on corral boots. I know they are a bit expensive but I think it’s worth to have one.
Then, I am going to start collecting some wood for the fireplace. It can save us from using the heater. I remember our electric bill went up last year because we use the heater often to heat up our house. Now, I am considering to use our fireplace and be practical. It just makes sense to me. In other words, I want to save money on electricity for shopping (lol just kidding).
Home improvement
We are in still in the process of fixing and improving our small home. I’ve been talking about this over a few years now. It takes time and plus, money is the most important requirement in this matter. We don’t really want to be in debt that’s why we’ve saving up and using cash for the house improvement. If we use our credit card, probably by now all major projects are done. Anyhow, the next thing we are going to fix is our kitchen and bathrooms. I would like to get a few stainless steel faucets for the kitchen and bathrooms. I think stainless steel faucets are more durable and practical. Don’t you think? I’ve looked up the web for some faucets and I found some really stylish stainless faucets. Oh, I can’t wait to start this project soon.
Excited to get home projects done
The month of August is almost done. I could hardly enumerate all the things I’ve done in this month. There was a lot of things that I needed to do. There’s not much time to finish my home projects. The nice thing about it is it’s half way done. The rest will take time as me and my husband still have to save money to continue these projects.
One of the home projects that I am excited about is our bedroom. Actually, we have to repaint our bedroom. I still haven’t figured out as to what to color I should use to paint the walls. Maybe I’ll go for earth green or a shade of brown. Of course, my husband should have a say in this matter. Aside from repainting, I would like to get a couple of new bedding sets. It’s nice to have new comforters when our bedroom is set. And plus, I need to replace our bedding soon because it’s getting old and worn out.
I am so excited to get these projects done. I just hope these projects will be done before this year ends. Well, I will just cross my fingers. And apparently, it depends on our budget.
