Our skin is the most visible organ in our body. It is very imperative that we should take care of it. I heard many people are already starting to get sick this month. During this cold period, flu virus is very common. That’s why it is very important to get a flu shot especially if you are always in the public, like hospitals, schools, stores, and the like. But if you are often at home, I guess you don’t have to get a flu shot, in my own opinion. Actually, I had my first flu vaccine when I was pregnant last year. I personally don’t want a flu shot but I had no choice I was carrying a baby and plus, I went to school at that time. Anyhow, if you are conscious about your health and don’t want to get sick this cold season, you might as well the vaccine or else exercise or workout to boost your immune system, drink plenty of water, and eat more fruits and vegetables.
It’s October!
Yay! It’s already October! Time flies! I hardly noticed the days of September are already gone. When we think of October, we often think of cold season, and when we think of cold season, we think of flu season. Yes, it’s flu season and it starts on October through May. Many people would get flu shot to prevent flu. Flu is short for influenza. It is a very contagious disease.

My baby
My baby was very happy that I brought him to the park yesterday. He rode the swing there. I really saw excitement in his face. After the park, we went to the store to get some baby foods. So, I got my baby organic baby foods. I simply like the O organics brand. I like to feed my baby with organic baby foods. I know they are more spendy than regular baby foods but it’s worth it since they don’t have pesticide in it. I want to make my own baby food one of these days. I think homemade baby food is much better and healthier. Anyhow, I am excited to introduce apple sauce to my baby. I hope he likes it.
New cigarette health warnings
The new cigarette health warning from FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Now consumers will get a glimpse of warnings images that will be alternating on all cigarette packages. These will be advertised within 15 months. This is an effort to discourage smokers to smoke tobacco. The Food and Drug Administration unveiled the nine, color images—including some of bodies ravaged by disease. They must appear on every cigarette pack and carton. The advertisement will start by September 2012.
