It’s getting warmer
I’m starting to like the weather these days. It’s getting warmer. That means, summer will be here soon. Yehey! My favorite seasons are spring and summer. I’m not really into cold season. I mean, I know some people prefer cold than warm or hot. It’s just that I easily get cold. And how much more during cold season. My feet get cold right away. It would be great to have a heated blanket. I wish I had one. I heard heated blankets are awesome. What do you think? Let me know your experience with heated blankets. I want to know before I get one someday.
Mobile phones
Nowadays, a lot of people have mobile phones. People use it daily. Even kids have cell phones. I remember the first time I got a cell phone about 12 years ago, I was really happy and proud. I was like a big shot for having a cell phone back then because there was not much people who owned cellphones. Now, it’s just different. You are a big shot if you have iphone 4S (lol). Well, iPhone is great anyhow. It’s a very user friendly cell phone. It has many awesome and incredible apps and features that anyone would want and enjoy. I wish I had one but someday when I’d be able to afford it. And plus, i don’t really need it right now. I’m quite comfortable and satisfied with my cellphone, which allows me to make calls, send and receive messages.
Me time
I was glad that I got “me time” this morning. After my dentist appointment I went to Fresh & Easy to get some organic broccoli, organic bread, mango and papaya. After that I went to a discount fashion store. I was there for an hour. I really took my time in selecting some clothes. I noticed that I feel more active and very good at shopping in the morning. I mean, it’s just different in the afternoon where I’m already tired and in hurry. I spent $21.53 for a dress, blouse, and a shirt. Can you believe it? It was such a good deal! I was really happy about it and had fun too. Then, I went to Walmart to buy sippy cup for my toddler and some storage and trash bags. My last stop was at Costco, I got some Naked juice. It was really fun to go out by myself!
Contemporary furniture
Furniture is a great piece to have at home. It adds personality and enhances the look of your home, most especially when you have contemporary furniture. My place is not that big so I prefer modern furniture. I want my place to be more spacious and cozy. In fact, I want to get a modern sofa bed. This idea will solve the problem when my mother in-law comes over to visit us this summer. We only two bedrooms. She can go use the other bedroom and my stepson can sleep on the sofa bed.
I’ve checked some contemporary sofa beds online. I was amazed how they all look elegant. I found many sites, like, gomodern.co.uk, that carry different contemporary furniture. I can’t wait to order one.
Happy Easter Day!
Happy Easter Day everyone! We went to the church this morning. The service was good but I only listened to half of it because I had to take my little man to the nursery room. I thought he would stay quiet and behave during the service but I was wrong. He started making noise. I didn’t want to interrupt or make a scene in the middle of the service. So, we went upstairs and took him to the nursery room. He likes it there anyway. I was surprised that they didn’t have Easter egg hunt. Or maybe I just missed it. After the service we went home straight away. There was a potluck party but it was too late. We didn’t know about it because we didn’t go the church the Sunday before that. Anyhow, we had a good Easter celebration. And I thank God for giving His life to save me from sins.
busy days
I’m glad that the water heater is ready to pick up at the store today. My husband is going to pick it up tonight and going to install it tomorrow. I was happy to learn that he’s not going to work tomorrow. I think this is God’s will. God knows our needs. My husband would be able to install the water heater in the morning. I’m excited about it. It has been a pain and hassle without hot water at home. I have to boil water to wash dishes and take a bath. But I have been taking a shower at the gym lately. Good thing that we have a gym membership.
Anyhow, his vacation is coming up soon. We are going to be very busy. There’s a bunch of chores waiting for us. We have to paint the house (outside). Speaking of painting, I still have to choose a good color paint and buy portable stanchions. Since this year has started, we have been very busy. I’m really looking forward to having a small vacation this summer.
