Reading eyeglasses
I think I finally need to get myself reading eyeglasses. I can’t read far anymore. I mean, I have to get a book or something closer to me so I can read it. I wasn’t like this before. I remember I could read prints hundred feet away from me and now, I can’t. I guess, my vision has changed over years. Is it an indication that I’m getting older? Ahh, I don’t even want to think about my age. Anyhow, I should get reading eyeglasses soon. I think stylish reading glasses would be awesome. I want to wear eyeglasses that are fashionable and stylish so I don’t look old and serious when I wear them. Reading eyeglasses don’t have to look boring. Even they look fashionable but you can buy them at affordable prices. Well, I better go now and start looking for some stylish reading eyeglasses online or at our local stores.
Model cars
I can’t believe how time really flies fast. Me and my husband are going to celebrate our 6th year wedding anniversary soon. It doesn’t seem we’ve been together that long, but I’m thankful to God for it. I really value our marriage and it’s a gift from God. Actually, we got married in the court first and then, in the church in the same year. And we’ve known each other for almost 8 years now. I have a lot of plans that I want to do in our anniversary. Most probably, I’m going to make a special dinner with candlelight. And I’m going to give something that he’d really like. I was thinking of getting him a model car. He loves model cars, most especially, tamiya models. I think this is a great idea. I’m excited about it. I should start browsing some websites that carry tamiya models. I hope I could find some really good deals.
Redecorating our house
I had a great time with my husband yesterday though I can’t really call it a Valentine’s celebration. We went to the store to get some furniture and after that we got some hotdogs, cinnamon bread and chips. I don’t normally eat this kind of food, but I was very hungry. I was so happy to get the furniture that we like. We wanted to make home nice, cozy and comfy. Our house is more inviting and cleaner than it was before. Now, I can invite my friends to come over for a small party or something, but they have to bring me some food gifts (lol). Honestly, I am very excited now that we got our things in order and redecorate our house.
Sore throat
I was sick this week. My baby got a bug and then passed it on me. Now, I have a cold and sore throat. I can deal with colds fine but I hate it when I have a sore throat. I have it for a week now. I don’t really know if this is a strep throat because I don’t have any fever at all. It might be an allergy. Allergy season is almost here. I have a friend in Austin told who went to see austin allergy doctor. She was glad to do it because she found out what she’s allergic on. I think I will have to see an allergy doctor. I will wait and see if my throat won’t get any better in the coming days. Actually, I prefer to let my body combat what I have right now. But well, let’s see.
Birthday plans for my baby
I am amazed how fast my little boy is growing. He’s getting taller and bigger, and hitting milestones. He’s practicing walking right now. Oh, I can’t believe that time actually runs fast. It’s been almost a year since he came into this world. I must admit that I feel blue sometimes (not in a bad way) when I think that he’s growing up. And before we know it, he will be an adult and he will have a life of his own. I guess, every mother feels like this. It’s just a mama thing.
Wow! My baby is almost one year. He’s going to be one year old in 3 weeks. I am pretty much excited for his first birthday. I’m going to throw a small party for him. It’s just going to be our family and closed friends. It will be held at the park near our place, so my baby can play and enjoy his party, even if he won’t really care and doesn’t know that it’s his birthday (lol). I want to get him a few toys and a money box. You know what, I am very excited about the money box because I want to teach him how to save money. I want to teach my son the value of money as early as now. I think it will fun for him. I remember my mom taught me how to save money and put them in my money box when I was a kid. And every birthday, she would let me open my money box. It was really fun to count the coins to see how much money I saved up.
Anyhow, I looked up the web for money boxes today and I found the one that is perfect for my baby at shedloadofgifts.co.uk. It’s a cartoon style design ceramic car mini money box. I liked that site because they have a great variety of money boxes for children and they are pretty affordable. Now, I am really getting so excited as I plan for my little guy’s birthday.
A gift from Scotland for my baby
This is the picture of the baby stuff that my friend in Scotland sent me last week as I mentioned in my previous post. I was really surprised to receive the package. I wasn’t really expecting anything from her. I thought the baby stuff were so cute. She sent the package so early because the last time she sent me one took forever to get here. The Marks and Spencer pj and shoes were all huge for my baby. But he will wearing these soon enough. I really appreciate these gifts for my baby’s upcoming birthday. Yay! My baby will be one year old in 3 weeks. Exciting!
