Fun activities for kids
It’s getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes…. I am just singing (lol). Well, I am really enjoying the weather this summer. It’s hot here but it’s very bearable. How about you? Before this summer ends, I would like to do more fun outdoor activities. There’s a lot of fun activities for kids you can do during this season. When we talk about summer, we often think of outdoor activities, like beaches, water parks, and the like. I think water parks are fun and delightful recreation for family and friends. It is very relaxing and enjoyable. Isn’t it? You can play with your kids or sit back and relax.
However, fun activities for kids shouldn’t end when summer is over. In fact, you can still enjoy those activities even during cold season. You can still do indoor activities for kids, like indoor water park for example. I would love bring my family to one of the indoor water parks near our place. I think they would love it. You know kids love this kind of activity.
As for now, I want my kids to enjoy the beach. When summer ends, we will still continue our fun activities for sure.

I saw some very attractive costumes on the net the other day. It kind of enticed me to purchase a costume for the coming Halloween. Costumes are practically essential when it comes to Halloween. For me, Halloween is the right time to show your wild side and set your imagination free. Excited to get home projects done
The month of August is almost done. I could hardly enumerate all the things I’ve done in this month. There was a lot of things that I needed to do. There’s not much time to finish my home projects. The nice thing about it is it’s half way done. The rest will take time as me and my husband still have to save money to continue these projects.
One of the home projects that I am excited about is our bedroom. Actually, we have to repaint our bedroom. I still haven’t figured out as to what to color I should use to paint the walls. Maybe I’ll go for earth green or a shade of brown. Of course, my husband should have a say in this matter. Aside from repainting, I would like to get a couple of new bedding sets. It’s nice to have new comforters when our bedroom is set. And plus, I need to replace our bedding soon because it’s getting old and worn out.
I am so excited to get these projects done. I just hope these projects will be done before this year ends. Well, I will just cross my fingers. And apparently, it depends on our budget.
A dream car
I am so glad that I know how to drive because I can just go anywhere whenever I want to. I feel so much independent. And plus, I don’t like riding a bus because it takes forever to get to the destination. Actually, my husband taught me how to drive. He was pretty patient with me though I got yelled at a couple of times (lol). Just thinking and remembering about the days when he taught me about driving makes me laugh. Anyhow, I have a very simple car right now. I honestly don’t need fancy one right now. I just want a car that runs good, but I would love to have a fancy car someday. A fancy car like Pontiac. It would really be cool. I would like to have the inside customized with pontiac firebird custom floor mats and other stuff. Oh boy it’s really nice to dream. I hope it will come true.
Conference call
I missed talking to my parents and siblings. They actually live on the other side of the world. Talking to them online is the best possible way of communication and I enjoy it a lot because I can make a conference call with them. I can talk to them at the same time, which is really cool. Being far from them is not that easy. However, I’m so glad that I have conference call equipment (thanks to my dear husband) that allows me to talk to them anytime I want to. They are just a phone call away. I’m going to call them this coming Saturday since it’s my mom’s birthday.
Earthquake hit the east coast today
I was kind of scared to hear the news about the earthquake that hit the east coast today. The quake was about 5 something magnitude. I remember last year when a strong quake hit in the Southern California on Easter Day. I was in the front of the computer at that time and I noticed our house was shaking so I looked up outside and I saw parked cars rolling back and forth. So, I immediately told my husband about the quake as I hurriedly went outside for safety. While I was on the ground, I prayed to God that it would stop. It felt like forever. The quake lasted for about almost a minute. That was the longest earthquake I’ve ever experienced.
