Toshiba Libretto W100
A new Toshiba gadget called Libretto W100 will be out in the market before this year ends. Toshiba just broadcasted and declared a limited edition multi-touch, ultra-mobile PC running Windows called Libretto W100. It is like a tablet and a netbook, however, it goes beyond what netbooks, tablet and smartphones can offer. Toshiba Libretto W100 is part of the company’s 25th anniversary.
You can open the gadget flat and use both screens as one slate. Although, it shows a break in between them when you view web pages and other documents that require more screen space.
You may use each screen to use different applications at the same time like e-mail application on the bottom screen while you open up a browser or other apps above.
Anyhow, there’s no official launch date for the W100 yet. Additionally, it has been said and reported that Toshiba will release the W100 in Japan in late August followed by Europe and the U.S. after that – so maybe Libretto will be out on Fall.
