Very nice weekend

I had a three-day weekend off. I really liked it. It seemed like a week because I had so much fun with my family. And my dear husband surprised me that he did not have to go on Friday so that means we both enjoyed a three-day weekend. We went out Thursday night and went back home the next day. We just want to get away from our house and not think about our household chores. It was really nice. We had dinner at a Chinese buffet and then the next morning, we went to Hometown buffet to get their breakfast menu. Unfortunately, we were frustrated because they don’t serve breakfast during weekdays. We kind of frustrated because we were really looking forward to eating waffles, omelet, etc. Since we were very hungry, we ended up eating there.

It was so nice of my husband for taking me out. We hardly go on a date because of our jobs. And plus, we are trying to save money for our big projects. We are renovating our house right now, which means we have to save up money. Anyhow, it was such a very nice weekend.
