Roller coasters may be linked to a common ear injury
Do you love roller coasters? In my case, I don’t like roller coasters. I just don’t like feeling of going up and down the hill. In other words, I don’t like the thrill, the g-forces and the adrenaline levels.
Anyway, according to a recent case study, modern roller coasters may be linked to a common ear injury. The faster the ride moves and the larger the change in altitude, the higher the force that is applied to the ear. If you turn your head to the left as the coaster falls, all that air pressure will get into your right ear canal, striking your ear drum with a force of 0.6 PSI (or pounds per square inch). It is recommended that when you ride roller coasters, you should have your head forward.
