Every overweight person has to deal with weight loss predicament or problem. We know the fact that losing weight is an easy thing to do and cannot be done overnight. Realistically speaking, it takes time. When you are planning on losing weight you have to stick to it – stick to your weight goal. At the end, you will find the difference and the result that you will not regret for the rest of life. Being overweight is not healthy at all. I remember when I did my externship in a family clinic; I met a few overweight people who did not want to get weighed on the weight scale because of they were embarrassed with their weight. I feel bad for them being shy about their weight. Some of the patients did not want to know how much they weight or they did eat before they get checked up. It just shows how obesity affects people’s mind and emotion.

I have heard many weight loss stories and I was amazed on how they were able to loss weight without any fear. I told my sister about losing weight. She does not try hard enough to meet her weight goal. Maybe I should share her some weight loss stories to encourage her in losing weight. Because many overweight people have been motivated to lose weight by reading or watching some weight loss stories on tv. People who have lost weight and met their goal feel more energetic and healthier physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

It is getting hot in here so take off all your clothes… I don’t mean nude here. I am just singing because it is getting hot these days. So far, I don’t miss the coldness of winter. I think I am ready for hot summer time. And it’s time to wear sunscreen. Sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s ultraviolet rays or radiation. It minimizes and reduces the chances of getting sunburn or cancer. Be sure to wear sunscreen with SPF. What is SPF? SPF stands for sun protection factor. It is the degree to which a sunscreen protects the skin from the rays of the sun. Nowadays you can find in the store shelves high SPF such as SPF 70 to 90 plus. High SPF sunscreens offer better protection from sun’s ultraviolet rays. So, don’t forget to wear sunscreen whenever you are out in the sun.

Germs! Germs! Everywhere! Are you a germ freak? Germs are everywhere we cannot avoid it. Sometimes, I get so fixated and obsessed in cleaning my home. I want it to be sparkly clean. But like I said, we cannot avoid germs and we cannot perfectly clean our home articles because there are things that we cannot see in our naked eye.

Anyhow, you might be wondering why I have a flip phone photo shown in this post. It is the Zadro Nano UV Disinfecting Scanner. It is just one inch thick, and is powered by two AAA batteries. This device is believed to kill and wipe out 99.9 percent of all bacteria and viruses. Just open up the Nano-UV Disinfection Scanner and wave its nano-UV light over anything that needs disinfecting for 10 seconds. This is great for fighting viruses, bacteria, fungi hiding in mattresses, pillows, or carpets, and kitchenware. The gadget costs $60 to $80. You can buy it online. I might want to try this. I hope this really works though.

Spring semester is over. I was glad about it and at the same time, I wish the semester were long. I really liked going to school to learn some new things especially that I really liked the course that I am into now. I was very excited to enroll in the summer semester until I learned that if I was enrolled in spring semester 2010, I am not allowed to enroll in the next summer or fall semester. They said they are currently accepting applications for new and returning students only at this time. Otherwise, it will delay my enrolment process for next semester. I saw this announcement at the website of the school where I am currently going. I have to call a friend who also goes to this school. I just don’t understand it. If I cannot enroll this summer or fall semester, I’d probably just enroll in online continuing education – the ed2go. I don’t want to stop and wait for another semester. Let’s see what I can do.
