I was glad that today is sunny. I was tired of the cold and rainy days. It had been raining here lately. I don’t feel like doing any outdoor activities at all. I hope it’s going to be sunny the rest of the week. I cannot wait for summertime so my family and I can engage myself in outdoor activities. My husband loves any riding sports. I would like to try atv riding. Do you like atv riding? I know atv sports is kind of spendy but I think it’s fun. I also think it’s great for the whole family. It is one of the ways for family bonding. I cannot wait to bring my family in the dessert and enjoy spending a day or two out in the sun. That’s one of my plans for this coming summer. I am excited about it. Summertime is a family time!

Ipad is getting more popular these days. Ipad is no big deal to me. It’s just like a toy or an Ipod touch, which I cannot put it in my pocket or my purse. I know a lot of people like it. But I have my own preference. I still prefer desktop computer and laptop. Anyhow, Dell is planning to release more netbooks and introduced their own version of Tablets named Sparta and Athens (hmm sounds like Greece lol). Sparta is a “netbook tablet”. Athens is a true “tablet netbook”. Sounds intriguing! Table netbook while other one is netbook tablet. I wonder what’s the difference. The netbooks and tablets both have ARM processors. They are 11-inch touchscreens with optional bluetooth, 3G and wifi, built-in camera and mic. They are expected to come out in the market by August. So, watch out for Athens and Sparta!.

At last, I am back to eating. I did not eat for two days in a row. I had to fast to cleanse and detoxify my digestive tract. Now, I feel better and great! The cleansing went all right. I had psyllium husks and bentonite. Bentonite is a permeable type of clay derived from volcanic ash. It is a useful and helpful detoxifier that soaks up toxins from our digestive tract. The bentonite has a trace of aluminum but the good news is our body cannot absorb the clay.

Bentonite clay catches and attracts unnecessary, contaminations and some harmful substances in our GI tract that stays there over the years. When we eliminate bowels, some of the waste products don’t get eliminated from our GI tract. Bentonite is good to take it with pysllium husks. Psyllium husks are great source of insoluble dietary fiber. Psyllium husks ease constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and dirrhea. Bentonite absorbs water and swells up as it draws toxins through electrical attraction.

I just went to the store other to get some juice and some snacks. I went to the vinegar section to check some balsamic vinegar. I was shocked to see a warning sign says, “This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm” in fine print. The warning is under Proposition 65 here in California. All balsamic and red wine vinegars come out to have trace of amount of lead. According to studies, Most balsamic and red wine vinegars have lead levels equal to or less than 34 parts per million. An average person would need to consume 1 to 2 cups of balsamic or red wine vinegar per day to reach the Proposition 65 lead level minimum threshold, which includes a 1000-fold safety margin.

Lead can damage people’s neurological systems, most especially children. Lead is a carcinogen. It may also be link to cardiovascular, kidney and immune system effects. Lead is not only found in vinegar as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that North Americans consume 50 micrograms of lead each day through food, beverages and dust. Vinegars are acidic and make the metal fully soluble so it’s more easily absorbed into the bloodstream. Click here for some balsamic and red vinegar that do not violate California’s proposition 65 limits for lead.
