Spring time
I noticed some flowers blooming today. That’s an indication of springtime. We all know that spring season is the season of allergies. My throat hurts right now. I have a postnasal drip. I think this is due to allergies. It might be pollens since I have been sneezing a lot too. Pollens are everywhere these days. Well, I cannot really avoid these allergens. What should I do? I don’t like to take antihistamine. I don’t want my body to get used to taking meds right away. I want my body to do its natural healing process. I mean I want my immune system to combat whatever I have right now. Anyhow, if you are susceptible to allergies, you should stay indoors. I cannot really avoid because I go to work. The best time to go outside is after a good rain, which helps clear pollen from the air. Another thing you can avoid pollens or allergens this season is do not mow your lawn, weed pulling and other gardening chores. You have to remove clothes you’ve worn outside. You may also want to shower to rinse pollen from your skin and hair. And don’t hang laundry outside — pollen can stick to sheets and towels. If you have a severe allergic reaction, wear a dust mask when you go outside. And then, the last but not the least, vacuum carpets weekly.
