Bananas
The organic bananas we got from the store on the weekend look overripe right now. I think I am going to make a smoothie later and add these overripe bananas for flavor and nice texture. I love bananas but I just don’t like to eat it when it’s overripe. What I usually do with them is add them to mixed frozen fruits and make a smoothie. I love bananas – they are sweet and rich in Potassium. Potassium is important for maintaining normal blood pressure and heart function. One banana daily may help you prevent high blood pressure and protect yourself from developing atherosclerosis, which is the hardening of the walls of arteries due to fatty deposits and cholesterol. Bananas also contains antacid that suppressed acid secretion in our digestive system. Well, I gotta go now and make a smoothie.
