I really didn’t drink a lot of water at work today, as I was very busy. Now, I have a mild headache. I noticed if I don’t drink enough water I get a headache. That means I get dehydrated. As much as possible I’d try to drink at least 3 liters of water every day. That’s 12 glasses of water a day. That sounds a lot huh? Yes! But water is very important in our body.

Our weight is made up more than two thirds of water. And our human brain is made up of 95% water, blood is 82% and lungs 90%. Imagine living without it. We would die in a few days. Because just a 2% drop in our body’s water supply can trigger signs of dehydration, unclear short-term memory, difficulty with basic math, and blurry vision. If you are experiencing these signs right now, grab a glass of water now!

Our skin is the largest organ of our body. It consists of a protective layer of skin cells that persistently shed and give way to new cells. Taking care of your skin is very important. That’s why before you spend money on skin products, it is important to read some reviews, like for example clearpores reviews. It is really important to know about the pores in our skin. Don’t you know that a pimple starts when the pores in the skin become clogged? Acne may start in your teen years, when you age or when hormones change. So, take care of your skin. Thought for the day:

Before I went to work today. I read a passage or verse from the bible. I just want to feed my mind and spirit with God’s word. The passage was Matthew 6:13, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” I really liked this passage because this reminds me to always pray to God in times of temptation. I prayed today that I wouldn’t be tempted to give any comments about anybody at work. I really don’t gossiping because it is wrong to judge other people, as I don’t want to be judged. My day at work was really good. I was not tempted to gossip. There were a few times that I was being tested but I passed it. I felt the Holy Spirit was with me reminding me not to dwell on sinful thoughts.

The skin is the largest organ in our body. It is the most outer covering that protects us from any environmental harm, pollution, getting injury, etc. It also functions for sensation to react to heat and cold, pressure, touch, and injury. It regulates temperature and control absorption. Our skin is water resistant which prevents essential nutrients from being washed out of our body.

Our skin is consisting of three layers.

The Epidermis that is the top layer that protects us from getting any infection and provides waterproofing.

Second layer contains capillaries that give nutrient-rich blood to the cells.

Subcutaneous – also known as hypodermis that contains adipose tissue or fats. This layer feeds and drains the capillaries of the dermis.
