Heartburn
Have you noticed a burning sensation in your upper abdomen and chest? Well, don’t think of heart attack because I am talking about heartburn. What is heartburn? Heartburn doesn’t mean that your heart is on fire! Heartburn is an agonizing condition which involves the upper digestive system. The pain often emits from the central chest region. That’s why some people are confused of the symptoms of heartburn with a heart attack. Heartburn is the effect of stomach acids reacting strongly to certain foods during digestion. This stomach acid is forced up the vulnerable esophagus, which cause moderate to severe pain. It produces a lot of discomfort feelings. Heartburn may also be an indication of other problems, like inflammation of the esophagus or Gastroesophageal reflux disease, which is in short GERD. I don’t really like taking antacid whenever I experience heartburn. I’d rather take natural remedies, like baking soda and ginger root. There are natural and home remedies for heartburn such as garlic, papaya, banana, almonds, apple cider vinegar, ginger root, raw potato, aloe vera, cabbage, chamomile tea, and baking soda.

The importance of water in our body
How important is water in our body? We need water in our bodies more than food. The human body is composed of 60 – 70% water. That’s why we need to drink eight 8 glasses or more of water daily. Think
about this – every day we eat and, of course the food has to be digested. Right? Water actually aids in this process. It prevents us from having constipation. If you are always constipated, drink a lot of water. Let’s talk about cells – our cells also needs water so that nutrients and oxygen can be carried to them, thus it keeps them healthy and helps them maximize their functions. Water helps eliminate some toxins and wastes in our body through sweat and urine. Water also aids mucous membrane moist around the nose, lungs and even mouth. Water also aids in shock absorber for the spinal cord, eyes, and uterus. When you have your monthly period, drink a lot of water. This prevents dysmenorrhea or severe uterine pain during menstruation. This what I do whenever I have my period. And thanks to water, I hardly have any pains during my period.
Another thing, water is one of the very best diet aids and fat reducers. It reduces sodium buildup and helps maintain muscle tone. Relieves fluid retention. Water is one of the best cure or treatments for our most common ailments. It can treat depression, dehydration, allergies, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, headaches, chronic fatigue syndrome, alcohol dependency, lower back pain, neck pain, and on and on. When we say water – water is water. Drink water everyday for at least eight glasses of water per day.
