Firefox crashed

I was wondering why my Firefox browser crashed a few moments ago for the first time. I got a message saying it crashed due to some reasons. When I saw the message, I shocked and thought my computer crashed. Whew! I was glad it wasn’t the my pc. That’s was a relief. Now, my FF browser is back to normal. I researched about it. And here’s what I found. Why Firefox crashes?

* Firefox crashes while loading Flash. It is triggering a bug in Flashplayer, which causes Firefox to crash.

* Not using the latest version of FF
* Out of date plugins
* due to virus or malware
* Extensions and themes can often cause crashes and other errors

I really don’t the reason why my browser crashed but I will let the virus scanner and spybot run to see if there’s any malware.
