phosphates may stimulate lung cancer tumors

December 29, 2008 · Posted in health · 1 Comment

South Korean researchers found out phosphates known as common food additives may aggravate or stimulate lung cancer tumors. They have tested some mice and discovered that may develop tumors. These phosphates can be found in many soft drinks, sports drinks, baked goods and processed meats (like hotdogs, bacon, ham, etc.), cheese, ice cream, frozen dinner foods, baking powder, candies, chocolates, and other industrialized foods. Phosphates prevent food from drying out. Actually, I usually look for the ingredients of certain products or foods before I purchase them. But sometimes, I buy products with bad ingredients like sports drink. However, we have to be more conscious with these ingredients because they critical to our health. So, before you buy any foods, read the ingredients first.

unwanted jewelry for cash

December 24, 2008 · Posted in Finances · Comment

With our economic crisis that we are facing right now, a lot of people lost their jobs and can’t really enjoy and celebrate the holiday season. They need cash to buy some stuff like food and presents for their loved ones. There are some ways to get cash. You can sell your unwanted gold jewelry and get highest return or cash (of course, it will be based on the weight and karat grade). Having some jewelry is very useful, in terms of emergency because you can sell or pawn it. My mother values jewelry as an investment because she knows that she can use them in times of need. And she has done it several times. It is better than using your credit card.

So, if you need cash, check out goldcashsource.com. They buy jewelry and give you cash immediately. They are the no.1 Gold buyer in the U.S. today and have been featured on CNBC, NBC, Forbes Magazine, INC500 and ABC. Request an insured FREE Gold Kit for your unwanted jewelry by filling out the form at their site and send it to Goldcashsource.com at no charge. You can track it online. And they’ll send you the cash within 24 hours.

Merry Christmas

December 24, 2008 · Posted in Personal · 1 Comment

Merry Christmas everyone! We don’t have Christmas tree this year because we are renovating our place but it’s alright. I don’t feel the Christmas spirit yet. Maybe, I would tomorrow.

By the way, let’s talk about the story of the Christmas tree. Christmas Tree started by Martin Luther. He enhanced the tradition of Christmas tree in Protestant countries. Martin Luther first added lighted candles to a tree. He was walking toward his home one winter evening, composing a sermon, he was impressed by the brilliance of stars twinkling amidst evergreens. To recapture the scene for his family, he put up a tree in the main room and wired its branches with lighted candles.

Anyhow, Christmas is not about Christmas tree or Santa Claus, it is about the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
