more than just illumination
Light is one of the fundamental elements in a house. By adding light fixtures brings style and provides the right accent to any room. I would like to get new light fixtures and some home decors eventually. I am going to put them in the bedroom and the living room. But I want to beautify and endow it with some inexpensive fixtures. I want crystal lighting fixtures for my living room. Or perhaps, I should include the dining area. What do you think? I can’t wait to have those fixtures for my home. They will surely give my home a cozy ambience and more than just illumination.
Is it getting colder in your place?
Is it getting colder in your place now? Here in San Diego, it’s still feels like summer. The temperature is pretty much consistent at this time. It’s not too hot nor cold. When we went to Oregon, it was a lot colder there. I kinda liked it, though; I have to wear 3 layers of clothes. I really want to see snowflakes someday. My husband and I are planning on checking out some properties in Oregon – Salem would be nice. I would prefer to live in a rural area and love to have a garden so I could plant some vegetables and fruits. And then sell them to the Farmer’s Market. Hehe That’s income generating project! Lol Well, anyhow, someday, when God provides us.
Heated bedding for cold season
Wintertime will be here before we know it. It’s going to be very cold. I’ll be whining again. Well, I am always cold and I don’t even like hot season –I want just right. Since winter is coming too soon, I am going to prepare my warm clothes. And it would be nice if I have an electric blanket that will keep me warm throughout the night. Actually, I found comfort heated beddings at cozywinters.com. I’d prefer to have heated blankets or bedding than to have the heater on. In this way, it will save me from paying sky-high electricity bills. And plus, heater makes our skin dry. Did you notice it? Right now, cozywinters.com offers Fall Bedding Sale at great discounted prices. They offer free shipping for all orders worth $75 and over. I think I am going to take advantage of this sale. I am going to look into it again. How about you? Do you feel cold on winter season? Look up CozyWinters too.
The economy is melting…
Two artists made an ice sculpture that spelled the word “Economy” in Manhattan’s financial district last Wednesday. It weighed 1,500 lbs. It stayed for 24 hours – see photo above. Artists Nora Ligorano and Marshall Reese said “To see the word ‘economy’ melting down is representational of an extreme time”.
The sculpture was 5 feet tall, 15 feet wide and sits on a pedestal because it is the 79th anniversary of the day in 1929 when the stock market crashed, which was the “Great Depression”.
