Twins with different skin colors

July 18, 2008 · Posted in Uncategorized · 2 Comments

It is two in a million. Twins with different skin colors (one is black, other is white). This is a very rare case. They are offspring of a mixed couple (see photo). The mother, Florence, hails from Ghana in western Africa, and dad, Stephan, is from Potsdam in Germany. The twin boys, named Ryan (black) and Leo (white). They didn’t think that they will come out in different skin colors. Baby Ryan came out first and then, they were surprised to see Leo with white skin color. I thought this will not happen in real life (only saw this in movies). But this case is amazing!

A man found a knife from Subway sandwich

July 17, 2008 · Posted in Uncategorized · 1 Comment

I thought of sharing this story here in my blog as I’ve already posted it to my other blog. A man allegedly found a knife in foot-long “Cold Cut Trio” Subway sandwich. He found a knife with a 7-inch blade baked into the bread. When he was taking a few bites from the sandwich, he spotted the knife jutting out from the bread’s crust. The lawsuit was filed in Manhattan state court and seeks $1 million. Do you believe it? How could that possibly happen? In Subway, they sliced the bread lengthwise then placed all the ingredients that you desired then, sliced it into two. And basically, the food server is touching the bread. I bet you, this is a bunch of crap –just to make money.

Doctor’s Appointment

July 15, 2008 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comment

I went to my family doctor for annual check-up. My previous doctor moved to another Sharp rees-stealy branch. It is 30 miles away from my place. I was going to get a pap test but the doctor recommended a gynecologist and I am scheduled to go there on the last of week of August (I had pap test last year from my previous doctor too). Then, he recommended a Podiatrist for my bunions—is a structural deformity of the bones and the joint between the foot and big toe, and may be painful. I am going to undergo a surgery for these bunions. It really bugs me really bad sometimes. The surgery corrects the deformity of the bones but doesn’t cure not prevent it. I might be able to walk for a couple weeks. Anyways, I am thankful to God that my insurance covers.

My first day at my new job

Today was my first at my new job. It was not as bad as I thought. I did a lot of filing. I am still adjusting to it. I was kinda frustrated because there were many papers missing. The place where I am working at, is an online business. They sell video games and other stuff. They are Italians. hehe Well, it is good to learn Italians while I am working there. Their site is called, Alternativedvd.com. They sell on E-bay too. Later, they going to teach me about Quickbooks. I have never used Quickbooks before. I hope it is going to be easy for me.

It is my birthday!!

July 7, 2008 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comment

Today is my birthday. I am very thankful to God for giving me another life. My loving husband bought me a cake, Victoria’s Secret skin care and an Oakley sunglasses. That was very nice of him. I feel I am spoiled. haha. But anyway, that was not the point. I am just very happy to celebrate my birthday. This is my 3rd time celebrating my birthday here in the U.S. I missed my family, though. But it’s alright. Maybe I am going to wear my birthday suit tonight! lol… ppsstt…
