A Volkswagen Beetle made out of oak wood. Can you believe it? The owner, named Momir Bojic, (50 years old) had spent a year coating his old “Beetle” with oak wood and made it run. On occasion basis, he drives this ‘wooden car’ and somehow turned into a moving attraction on streets. That’s a very pretty design and one in a million. Look at the photo.

We watched the movie “Mamma Mia” last Friday at the theater. The movie was ok. I don’t want to watch it again, though. This movie was based on a musical stage play in Vegas. I really liked the songs a lot. They were all “Abba” songs. It is starred by Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and many other big stars. I don’t like Meryl, she tends to overact a lot of times. But for those who are into musical show, this is a great for you, guys. But a lot of corny scenes in this movie. Overall, the movie was just “OK”.

I was so glad that my friend, Mabelle really liked the gift that I sent to her. I sent her the album of Michael W. Smith. It is called “Worship Live”. I was kinda apprehensive and worried about it with the thought that she might not like it. But she did like it! The album contains praise and worship songs. I love Christian songs especially that kind of songs. Michael W. S. is one of my favorite singers– his songs “Friends” The Love of my life”. Here is the sample of the songs from the album that I sent to my friend, Mabelle.

Women run in a high heel sprint race at RedSquare in Russia on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Participants of the high heel run were challenged to race in stilettos of at least 9 cm (2.54 inches) tall. Oh boy That would hurt the ankles pretty bad. I ran with my high heels when I was at Hong Kong Airport so I won’t miss my flight. The airport is very huge and I think I ran for like a mile. I was very exhausted.

We watched Batman “The Dark Knight” on Saturday. The movie theater was packed. My husband was very excited to see this movie. He woke up early, imagine that! haha We went to AMC Theater at 9:20am. My husband went to get our free popcorn. So, I went ahead to get some seats. I was going to get the middle ones but they were full. I was surprised to see a lot of people were already there waiting for this show. I can see that there are many followers of this movie. The Dark Knight got great reviews– that convinced people to watch it. haha The movie has a many plots– which you really have to pay attention to it. It is a type of movie where you want to watch it twice. I would like to watch it twice but I don’t know if it’s worth it considering the movie ticket price. Maybe I will just wait until it comes out in DVD. Overall, I will give two thumbs up for this movie. Late Heath Ledger did his job very well!

Twins with different skin colors

It is two in a million. Twins with different skin colors (one is black, other is white). This is a very rare case. They are offspring of a mixed couple (see photo). The mother, Florence, hails from Ghana in western Africa, and dad, Stephan, is from Potsdam in Germany. The twin boys, named Ryan (black) and Leo (white). They didn’t think that they will come out in different skin colors. Baby Ryan came out first and then, they were surprised to see Leo with white skin color. I thought this will not happen in real life (only saw this in movies). But this case is amazing!
