So Much Easier

We recently got a t1 line and it’s made things SO much easier. My boss is really reluctant to upgrade our technology and for the life of me I don’t know why. I think it’s just as important to have fast internet so we can communicate with our clients effectively as it is to have fancy business cards. My boss is really old school and sometimes I think you’d be better off working for him back in the 60s than you are now… Trying to get him to upgrade anything is like fighting an uphill battle. He is the nicest man in the world and I’m really thankful that his wife is only 50 because she seems to really understand the value of having upgraded technology at the office and she is sometimes our best bet for getting him to make a switch. He just really hate spending money on something he can’t see, which I understand, but he is going to have to get over that to be successful!
A package from my friend
I was surprised to receive a package from my friend in Scotland. I opened the package with a big smile on my face. She sent my son pajamas and very cute shoes. I feel so happy for my son. I didn’t expect her to give something for my son. Actually, the gift is for his birthday. My friend sent it early when in fact, my son’s birthday is on the third week of the month. That was so nice of her. I am going to send her email later. Right now, I’m really happy about it.
Baby shower
I went to the grocery store the other day and I saw one of my friends here in our town. I was surprised to see her baby bump. Really, it was really surprising because I haven’t seen her for a long time. I know we live in the same town but we don’t bump into each other even at the store. So, she told me that she got married and now they are having baby girl. I was happy for her. I told her that I gave birth to a baby boy last year. We talked while shopping at the store. She invited me to her baby shower. I told her that I am going to bring dessert for the baby shower. She loves apple pie so that’s what I am going to bring and vanilla ice cream too. I’m excited for her baby shower. It reminds me of the baby shower I had last year. It was full of fun. And I received lots of baby stuff.
Shoe shopping
I enjoy shopping online. In fact, I buy almost every thing on the web from gadgets, clothes, to shoes because it’s more convenient and easier to me. And speaking of shoes, I have been looking up some kate spade shoes at one of the best designer shoe stores online. I just love how they look! I like how they are designed. I must admit that they are quite expensive but they are durable. I really want heavy-duty shoes that would last for years.
In fact, I have a few designer shoes that are still intact for couple of years now. I would rather spend money on expensive shoes than buying cheap quality and inexpensive shoes. I remember one of my friends broke her shoes while she was at work. The funny thing about it, was she didn’t notice that one of the heels fell off and somebody saw the heel on the ground. Oh boy, I would’nt want that to happen to me. lol
Back to shopping, I’ve also been eying on some Melissa shoes. I want to get a pair of flat shoes this summer. I am kind of excited about this plan though. I’m planning to buy these shoes for my birthday! I better start saving money now!
More projects
I’ve been very busy since we came back from our vacation. I have lots of projects to do. I don’t even know where to start. I must admit that I stress out just by thinking of my projects this year. But I think I can get them done in a timely manner. I know I can do it. Next month, I am going to help my husband paint our house both interior and exterior. I am also going to do rearrange my son’s bedroom. I want to change the paint color. I’ll probably paint his room blue and I want to get kids switch plate covers to make his room neat and unique. I am excited about these projects. I just hope that I’d be able to get them done before this year ends.
Road trip
It’s nice to be back from vacation. Our vacation turned out really great. I really had fun with in-laws and my family. I wish we could get together every Christmas. Anyhow, our road trip to Oregon was great. The weather wasn’t bad at all. I thought it would rain or snow in the mountain pass, but it didn’t, in which I was thankful about it. Taking road trips can be stressful because you will never what’s going to happen on the road. You just have to be prepared and know an emergency road service. I prayed for a safe trip and I thanked God for keeping us safe on the road. We will probably go back and visit my husband’s folks next year, maybe on summer. I am pretty excited about this plan. I can’t wait!
